Each person's journey is unique, filled with chapters of joy, pain, growth, and healing. Through my own experience in therapy, I have witnessed the transformative potential of sharing and exploring our stories in a safe and supportive environment. It is both a privilege and a joy for me to accompany individuals on their mental health journeys. I am honored to create a space where individuals can embark on a path of self-discovery, empowerment, and growth, fostering a sense of well-being and fulfilling their mental health goals.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family (including my dog), lots of tea and coffee, gardening, thrifting, reading, traveling, and the occasional fun-but-stressful house project.

My Approach

My approach is person-centered; you are the expert on your experiences. As we progress into therapy, I may utilize different theories such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy, and more. Therapy is not one-size-fits all, so we will check in often during therapy to see how therapy is feeling for you. My approach is non-judgmental, culturally sensitive, and focused on your best interest.

What you can expect

I know how intimidating it can be to make your first therapy appointment. It takes a lot of strength and courage to take that first step-be proud of yourself! It's normal to experience feelings of stress and anxiety leading up to your first appointment.

We'll spend the first few sessions getting to know each other, talking about what therapy is, and exploring your goals. Whether we decide together to focus on identity, relationships, family, work, or faith, this is a safe space. As therapy continues, we can revisit your goals, the approach I use as your therapist, or anything else that deserves to be reassessed. It would be my pleasure to learn about your story.
