Life can be hard, and for many, the last several years have been particularly hard. Sometimes it is traumatic and tragic, other times it's overwhelming and confusing, and sometimes it just feels plain blah. Over the years, counseling has played an important role in my own life, helping me navigate the ups and downs. In turn, I have had the chance to walk with people during some of the darkest and most challenging seasons of their lives. My hope is to continue to journey with others and be a healing presence in their lives.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, playing strategy games, watching movies, doing puzzles, and reading.

My Approach

My aim as a counselor is to help my clients identify and pursue their goals. I believe there is no issue that is too minor or major to address, and I want my clients to know that if a matter is important to them, it is important to me. Though I gravitate towards person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused therapies, I believe in an integrative style of counseling that adjusts the counselor’s approach to match a client’s personality and needs.

What you can expect

I believe each person is unique and valuable and brings a unique set of circumstances and experiences to the table. So, I believe the counseling relationship should primarily be about providing a space where clients can be themselves without judgment, where they are supported, and where they can grow and thrive. I hope that through our time together, you will grow in your understanding of yourself and others so that you can navigate your life in a healthy manner and write a life story you love to live.
