Everyone has their own unique story, with each chapter bringing new experiences, challenges, and growth. From my own journey, I've learned that some chapters are too heavy to carry alone, and that is where healing begins. I believe I was placed on this earth to walk alongside others through their most difficult moments, helping them close painful chapters and rewrite their narrative with strength, clarity, and purpose. Therapy is not about fixing what is broken; it is about nurturing what is already within, and I am honored to be a guide through that process.
Throughout my work, I have had the privilege of supporting survivors of human trafficking. That experience has deeply shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of creating safe, affirming spaces. While not all struggles are the same, I believe we are all surviving something. My mission is to meet people where they are and walk with them as they rediscover their voice, reclaim their story, and move forward with hope and intention.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, trying new restaurants, staying active through sports and fitness, and watching sports. I also enjoy crafting, reading, puzzling, and taking peaceful walks with my dog to recharge and stay grounded.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is holistic and tailored to each individual. I believe in addressing the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected parts of the healing process. For those who find strength in faith or spirituality, I am happy to incorporate those elements into our work together in a way that feels natural and meaningful.
I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in building practical coping skills and emotional resilience. CBT helps individuals recognize and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, while DBT provides tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and improving interpersonal relationships. I also incorporate somatic movement to help clients reconnect with their bodies, process stored emotions, and support nervous system regulation. Alongside these approaches, I integrate solution-focused and purpose-centered work to help clients identify strengths, create meaningful goals, and move toward a future aligned with their values. Through a trauma-informed lens, I strive to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering.
What You Can Expect
You can expect a warm and welcoming space where you feel safe, heard, and never judged. My priority is to build a strong, trusting relationship where we work together as a team. I will meet you where you are, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you are facing overwhelming life challenges, navigating past trauma, or simply seeking clarity and direction, I am here to support you with compassion, presence, and encouragement. This is your journey, and I am honored to walk alongside you.
