Everyone has their own unique story, with each chapter bringing new experiences, challenges, and growth. From my own journey, I've learned that some chapters are too heavy to carry alone, and that is where healing begins. I believe I was placed on this earth to walk alongside others through their most difficult moments, helping them close painful chapters and rewrite their narrative with strength, clarity, and purpose. Therapy is not about fixing what is broken; it is about nurturing what is already within, and I am honored to be a guide through that process.
Throughout my work, I have had the privilege of supporting survivors of human trafficking. That experience has deeply shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of creating safe, affirming spaces. While not all struggles are the same, I believe we are all surviving something. My mission is to meet people where they are and walk with them as they rediscover their voice, reclaim their story, and move forward with hope and intention.
When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with my loved ones, enjoying a good meal at a new or favorite restaurant, playing or watching sports, or working out. I also enjoy crafting, reading, puzzling, and taking peaceful walks in nature to decompress and reflect. Physical activity is an important part of my routine, and I find balance through CrossFit, sports, and time outdoors. Whether I'm connecting with others or recharging on my own, these moments help me stay grounded and present in both my life and my work.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is holistic and tailored to each individual. I believe in addressing the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected parts of the healing process. For those who find strength in faith or spirituality, I am happy to incorporate those elements into our work together in a way that feels natural and meaningful.
I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). CBT helps individuals recognize and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, replacing them with more balanced and constructive perspectives. DBT provides tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and improving interpersonal relationships. By integrating these frameworks with a trauma-informed approach, I support clients in developing practical coping strategies while also guiding them through deeper emotional healing. Above all, I strive to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe, collaborative, and empowering.
What You Can Expect
You can expect a warm and welcoming space where you feel safe, heard, and never judged. My priority is to build a strong, trusting relationship where we work together as a team. I will meet you where you are, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you are facing overwhelming life challenges, navigating past trauma, or simply seeking clarity and direction, I am here to support you with compassion, presence, and encouragement. This is your journey, and I am honored to walk alongside you.
