Every life is a story—full of unexpected twists, challenges, growth, and hope. Some chapters feel steady and joyful; others are marked by struggle or uncertainty. In those moments when the path forward feels unclear, we’re often faced with the question: What now? My passion is to come alongside individuals and couples in those moments—to help make meaning of their experiences, deepen understanding, and move toward healing and wholeness. Whether you’re navigating personal challenges or relational struggles, I believe growth happens in the context of safety, compassion, and honest exploration. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you continue writing the next chapters of your story.

When I’m not working, I’m home enjoying life with my wife and our three kids. As a family, we love the outdoors—whether we’re camping, hiking, gathered around a campfire, or heading to the beach. In my own downtime, I enjoy fishing, playing sports, and cheering on Michigan State—GO GREEN!

My Approach

I believe therapy should honor your individuality and your relationships. You are complex, capable, and full of potential—and your story matters. I work with both individuals and couples, recognizing that each person and relationship brings unique strengths, challenges, and dynamics. My counseling style is primarily person-centered, though I incorporate other approaches in conjunction in order to meet client's uniquely. Together, we will explore your experiences, values, and strengths to help you make sense of your story and move forward with intention—whether you’re seeking personal growth, navigating relational conflict, or working to build stronger connection and understanding.

What you can expect

You and your story—individually or as a couple—will be met with warmth, empathy, and respect. I deeply value the courage it takes to share your life, struggles, and hopes with someone else. In our work together, you’ll experience a safe and nonjudgmental space where your story is honored and your voice matters.Whether we’re working one-on-one or as a couple, I will walk with you—not to fix you, but to support you—as you uncover insight, embrace your strengths, and move forward in hope.
