My story has revealed many surprises! It brought me here today to help others navigate their own twists; whether by examining old chapters or finding ways to write a new one, I believe that counseling can encourage everyone to author their own story.

I am passionate in providing support to adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and any other concerns impacting the mind and body. I have a particular interest in women’s health. Whether you are navigating the complexities of mental health, coping with challenges of chronic illness, or seeking skills to improve overall well-being, I am here to offer compassionate support and evidence-based interventions fit to your needs.

Outside of clinical practice, I enjoy exploring the natural world and spending time with my dogs. I believe in the importance of self-care and relish opportunities to travel. In my spare time, I can be found enjoying a book, baking with a new recipe, or learning the ins and outs of dog training at a local facility.

My Approach

My counseling approach is person-centered, meaning I prioritize your unique experiences, values, and goals. We will work together to build insight, helping you add a new lens with which to examine historical events, current patterns, and future direction. Central to my practice is establishing a relationship built on trust and empathy, creating a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely.

What you can expect

You can expect to be treated with respect and dignity as you share your story. In our initial sessions, I will ask questions to understand and clarify. From there, we can explore your strengths and harness your motivation toward achieving your goals. We will practice mindfulness techniques, cognitive-behavior interventions, and other evidence-based methods in order to manage stress, regulate emotions, and help cultivate resilience.
