My story has instilled in me a deep respect for the impact of being seen, heard, and understood within the context of meaningful relationships. I have come to believe that lasting change begins when people are given a safe, compassionate space to explore their experiences with intentionality and care. This perspective shapes my desire to walk alongside clients with curiosity, humility, and a steady presence, attending to their stories and lived experiences.
When I’m not working, I enjoy long hikes and exploring West Michigan with my husband and our Australian Shepherd, spending time with friends and family, listening to a good podcast, and diving into creative hobbies like interior design and photography.
My Approach
My approach to counseling is relationally grounded, trauma-informed, and shaped by a deep respect for each person’s story. I believe meaningful change happens within a safe and trusted relationship, where clients are known, heard, and met with compassion. Rather than offering quick solutions, I seek to create space for thoughtful exploration, recognizing that healing often unfolds through presence, curiosity, and care.
What You Can Expect
You can expect a warm and welcoming environment that honors the courage and intentionality you’ve shown by coming to counseling. I recognize that beginning this process can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and respected. Together, we will explore your experiences, challenges, and goals at a pace that feels right for you. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in curiosity and care, as we explore what growth, healing, and meaningful change look like for you.
