I believe that every person's story is important. Our experiences, relationships, and challenges often shape who we are, our perspectives, and how we connect with others. Taking the time to explore your story can be a powerful step toward healing, growth, and self-discovery. My passion for counseling comes from my personal experiences with mental health struggles and those of the people close to me. I have seen how meaningful it can be to have someone walk alongside you during difficult times. In my counseling work, I strive to offer that same safe, compassionate space where you feel seen, supported, and safe to grow.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jeremy, and our sweet mini-bernedoodle, Stella. In my spare time, I enjoy rewatching favorite episodes of Gilmore Girls or anything from the Star Wars franchise, especially while enjoying a good cup of coffee. I enjoy cozy evenings with a cross-stitch project or video game, and cooking meals to share with friends and family. I also find a lot of joy in playing music - singing, playing guitar, and sitting down at the piano are some of my favorite ways to unwind.

My Approach

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and elements of Narrative Therapy in my work with clients. My approach is integrative and client-centered, prioritizing an empathetic environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered in your healing process. I believe that as a client, you are the expert of your own story and experiences, and I view our work together as a collaborative journey.

What You Can Expect

When you walk through the door, you can expect a warm welcome just as you are. Whether it's your first time or you've been here before, I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating. You can find a calm and supportive environment where your story is respected, and your voice truly matters. This is a judgment-free space where you can take a deep breath and simply be yourself. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, focusing together on the healing and growth that you are seeking.
