My story has shown me the privilege that it is to be able to walk alongside others through the peaks and valleys of life. The importance of this has been illustrated to me by the people who have walked with me through my own ups and downs. When we are able to know and understand the stories of the people around us, we are able to understand who they are in greater depth.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family. Living an active lifestyle is important to me and that includes taking lots of walks, playing tennis, and a love for hiking that has been inspired by spending a year living in Asheville, NC. I like to go to the beach, try new restaurants, and travel every chance I get. Reading is one of my favorite ways to relax, and I could talk books for hours!

My Approach

In my approach, I believe in approaching clients from a holistic approach and integrating all areas of their life to cultivate a happy and healthy life moving forward. This leads to an eclectic approach to best meet each client's needs.I am trained in both traditional talk therapy methods as well as certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART is an eye movement therapy that can transform your life in a quick and effective manner. I am also certified in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International and I am passionate about working with women in this life stage.

What you can expect

I aim to meet you where you are and provide a comfortable, safe environment to work together through any issues that you may be facing. I know that seeking therapy can be intimidating, and I want to support you every step of the way. The relationship between a person and their therapist is unique and we will take time to work on that relationship in a way that is collaborative and meets your needs, both immediately and in the long term.
