MSW - Spring Arbor University
I work with kids, pre-teens, teens, and young adults who are dealing with things like school stress, friendship struggles, and family conflicts. I support clients navigating depression, anxiety, suicide ideations, ADHD, substance use, and mood or personality-related challenges.
I became a therapist because I’ve seen, personally and professionally, how isolating life can feel sometimes. Asking for help isn’t easy, and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I believe healing happens through real, honest connection, and I’m here to walk alongside you through it.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking with my dogs, gardening, or spending time with family and friends, those moments help keep me grounded and present.
My Approach
I focus on creating a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, no judgment, no pressure. We’ll work together to understand your story and figure out what actually works for you.
My style is strengths-based and person-centered, meaning you’re the expert on your life, I’m here to support and guide you. I pull from a mix of approaches depending on your needs, including:Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Play Therapy, Relational-Cultural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy and Safety Planning.
What You Can Expect
Therapy with me is collaborative and real. We’ll start by getting to know you, your strengths, your challenges, and what you want to work on. From there, we’ll build on what’s already working and find tools to help you move forward.
I take time to understand what matters to you, your background, values, and experiences so our work feels relevant and supportive. My goal is to help you feel more confident, more in control, and better able to handle whatever life throws your way.
