We've all learned or received tools to help us walk through life personally and relationally. Sometimes the tools we've learned need tweaking, other times we need some new tools we didn't know existed, or we need help addressing underlying emotional patterns. If you find yourself stuck I would love to walk through a season of your journey with you to discover what may help you navigate your current chapter of life. My Christian faith has been instrumental through seasons of difficulty and can be incorporated into therapy for those that desire that. I have assisted people on their journey who struggle with anxiety, depression, abuse recovery, trauma, adjusting to changes in life, grief, chronic sorrow, caregiving, relationship issues, healthy boundaries, and codependency.

None of us go through this life unscathed by crisis, difficulty, struggle, or grief, but we can find hope and joy despite the brokenness in life. I would be honored to walk through a portion of your journey with you.

When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, camping, kayaking, and sports.

My Approach

I use a variety of counseling methods including narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma focused therapy, and attachment theory to help frame our time together. I recognize counseling is only a piece of wellness and therefore also focus on holistic wellness both inside and outside of our sessions.

What you can expect

Initially our sessions will be focused on building trust as well as practical tools. I want to earn your trust and it’s important to me that you feel safe in our times together. I also like to give practical tools and frameworks to assist in growth. You are unique and have unique needs and experiences in life. I like to provide frameworks to understand how you have been shaped and how that is impacting your current challenges. I look forward to journeying with you as you write the next chapter in your life.
