Life can be hard sometimes and many of us struggle with "stuff". So why do we walk around like we are alone? We are not alone and therefore should not have to deal with our "stuff" alone. My path to becoming a counselor was shaped by my own experiences of navigating life's ups and downs, being alone, and discovering how powerful it can be to feel truly seen and supported by other humans. That's why I do what I do-to create a space where you feel safe to show up as your full self, not just the parts that are struggling, and know that people are out there who want to help. I care deeply about your story, your relationships, and how you make sense of the world around you.

I come from an education background, so I understand how crucial relationships and various support is to the development of people. I am here as a guide through those relationships and support to help you get where you need to go.

When I am not working, spending time with my family and friends is what I enjoy. Social activities include camping, hiking, and going to the beach. I play golf, watch hockey and soccer, and get outside to the zoo and various parks. I also love movies and TV shows.

My Approach

I use an Adlerian approach, which means I see you as a whole person-not just your struggles, but your strengths, your story, and the way you connect with others. I believe that everyone wants to feel like they belong and that their life matters, and together we'll explore how your past experiences shape how you see yourself today. I also pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you notice and challenge unhelpful thoughts that might be holding you back. And when you're ready to take action, I use Solution-Focused techniques to help you build on what's already working and move toward your goals. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just trying to figure things out, I'm here to support you in creating real change-on your terms.

What You Can Expect

When we work together, you can expect a calm, supportive space where you're free to be yourself-no judgment, no pressure. I want to make sure you feel safe, valued, and heard. I show up with curiosity, active listening, and a collaborative mindset, because I believe therapy works best when we're in it together.

I care about you as a whole person-not just the problem or stress that brought you in. That means we'll explore not only what's feeling heavy right now, but also your strengths, values, relationships, and the story you're telling yourself about who you are. I'll help you make sense of how your experiences have shaped you, and together we'll figure out what direction feels right for you moving forward.

Whether you're navigating stress at school, life transitions, family and relationships, or just figuring out minor details, I'll meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you grow.
