I have experienced how the beautiful and the challenging parts of life often hold together, and I believe in the value of relationships when it comes to navigating the complexity of it all. I love to walk with people as they discover their strengths and learn to hold space for their stories. Unfortunately, pain and suffering are included in what it means to be human, but healing is possible!
When I'm not working, I enjoy being outside, especially if it includes a friend or two. I can often be found taking long walks around my neighborhood, even in the snow. I hate flying but love to travel and explore new places. My dream day would include a long hike to a waterfall! I spend a lot of my spare time with friends and family and occasionally love a good TV show binge. I'm also pretty competitive and love having a sports team to root for.
My Approach
I want to get to know you and find ways to support you as we explore the unique, contextual features of your life and story. Our work will include compassionate, curious attention to your mind, body, and environment. As we go, we will explore the tools that therapy modalities like CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems Theory have to offer.
What You Can Expect
I hope to offer a warm environment in which you can feel safe to explore your inner world as we process life's challenges and work toward emotional health. I will honor your dignity and autonomy, and you can expect to be listened to, believed, and supported in your goals. I am honored to be a part of your story!
