I understand that if you're navigating a period of transition - whether it's a change in relationships, starting or leaving a job, relocating to a new area, coping with the loss of a loved one, or facing any of life's many adjustments - a supportive and compassionate space can be vital in working through these changes. In times when I have experienced all of the above, I found therapy to be a consistent safe space, and sometimes that is all we need. My lived experiences have taught me how to be patient, compassionate towards myself, and strong. It would be an honor to assist you in your journey, however it may look. As the daughter of a Hispanic immigrant, I also offer several perspectives on multiracial and multicultural family dynamics.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time outside, exercising, trying new foods and restaurants, traveling, and cheering on the Los Angeles Chargers (go Bolts!)
My Approach
My therapeutic approach centers heavily around nurturing a trusting relationship between myself and my client so they feel free to share their joys, sorrows, and everything in between. It is my goal to create a space where you feel comfortable being curious and vulnerable with your emotions. Together, we will work to understand your thought patterns and actions and integrate solutions that best fit your needs and wishes.
What You Can Expect
When we are working together you can expect a comfortable judgement free environment. I will always do my best to tailor the session and modalities to best fit your needs, and hope that our time together brings healing and helps broaden your perspective. Remember, you are never alone when we are working together.
