My story begins growing up in a minority community, where I witnessed firsthand the strength and resilience people carry, often while facing challenges that go unseen. I also saw how stigma and lack of understanding around mental health made it difficult for many to speak openly about their struggles or seek support. Those early experiences shaped my perspective and inspired me to pursue this field, to help break that silence and bring greater awareness to the importance of mental health for everyone. Today, I carry that purpose into my work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you feel safe to show up as you are and share your story without fear of judgment. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and I am here to walk alongside you, offering guidance, compassion, and practical tools to support your healing, growth, and movement toward the life you want to create.
When I'm not working, I enjoy cozying up with a good book, taking walks outdoors, and exploring local food festivals. I also cherish spending time with my family and connecting with the people and experiences that bring joy and balance to my life.
My Approach
I believe therapy is a collaborative and supportive process where your story is at the center of the work. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also integrating Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy to create a space that feels both structured and deeply compassionate. Together, we will explore how your thoughts, emotions, and experiences are connected, while building practical tools to help you feel more balanced, grounded, and in control. At the heart of my work is the belief that you are the expert in your own life. My role is not to "fix" you, but to walk alongside you-helping you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and move toward meaningful change. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to be open and honest. Therapy with me is paced around your comfort level and guided by your goals, because lasting growth happens when you feel supported, understood, and empowered every step of the way.
