MA Clinical Mental Health Counseling -  Liberty University (In Progress)

We each have a unique story. Some parts of our story we choose for ourself, other parts were never a part of our plan. Both types of experiences make us who we are. Our stories can leave us with a sense of joy and gratitude, but also with a sense of burden, grief, trauma, or sadness. My own life has taught me that every part of your story deserves to be explored. Together, let's explore the experiences that make you uniquely YOU, on your journey to holistic wellness.

When I'm not working you might find me volunteering, performing with a theater company, or drinking lots of decaf coffee from local coffee shops.

My Approach

I desire to work with all my clients holistically - emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. I’ll begin by getting to know the unique individual you are, before working together to identify your personal goals, and encouraging you along your journey to accomplishing those goals. I operate from a cognitive-behavioral perspective. I believe that our minds and thoughts are powerful and can be tools that aid in the growth process. When we can learn to direct our thoughts and emotions - rather than being controlled by them - we can achieve the goals we set out to accomplish.

What You Can Expect

When you come into a session with me you can expect a non-judgmental, encouraging environment. I hope to offer a safe space where you can be free to be yourself on your way to becoming who you want to be. Therapy is hard work - but well worth the time and effort. I promise to support you throughout your journey here.
