My story has included personal challenges where I felt helpless and control was out of reach. As anxiety has slowly loosened its grip, I want others to taste this freedom. My own story has been woven from having people speak truth and support into my life. Gradual change can come from having a listening ear and being offered ways forward to succeed. Your story does not have to be traveled alone. When I'm not working, I enjoy grabbing a coffee before heading to thrift stores with a friend. I serve as a youth group leader at my church during the school year. Recharging looks like reading a book by C.S. Lewis or Malcolm Gladwell when not working on my homework. I love knitting, crafting, and talking on the phone with my friends in my downtime.

My Approach

My role is to learn your story. It is unlike anyone else's, so you will teach me as the expert of your life. I want to know your internal worldview and how it shapes your view of the people you meet and interact with. People are meant for community, so I want that to begin in my office. I want to provide conversations that will build hope through using a strengths-based approach to your care. I believe you have unique abilities that are an asset to live well. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and narrative therapy. I want to provide the tools that will be the best fit for you from these approaches.

What You Can Expect

I will provide a patient and calm environment for us to navigate what your story brings. The past and present guide to what you would like your future to become. Working alongside you, I will give options towards a plan that will give hope, care, and safety as you share your needs. You will be able to choose what goals are most important to experience healing, growth, and acceptance.
