Master of Social Work, University of Michigan (in progress)

I've always been drawn to understanding people, their stories, experiences, and the things that shape who they are.

My background in the military, healthcare, and mental health has given me the opportunity to connect with individuals from all walks of life and has strengthened my belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.

As a United States Air Force veteran and emerging social work professional, I bring a unique perspective shaped by both professional and personal experiences. I'm passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges, better understand themselves, and recognize the strengths they already possess.

I believe that regardless of age or stage of life, we all experience moments when we need additional support, a different perspective, or simply a space where we can be ourselves without judgment.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family, making memories with our kids, and embracing the beautiful chaos of everyday life. I love being outdoors, playing softball, attending sporting events, and finding reasons to laugh. I believe in the importance of meaningful connections, humor, and appreciating the little moments that make life special.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is person centered, strengths based, and trauma informed. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.I recognize that everyone's experiences, circumstances, and needs are different. Whether we're navigating emotions, relationships, life transitions, or patterns that no longer serve you, my goal is to meet you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be.

I incorporate motivational interviewing, thoughtful reflection, and practical strategies while recognizing the influence that family, relationships, identity, and life experiences have on our well being. I value authenticity and believe that growth often comes from a balance of compassion, accountability, and a willingness to explore new perspectives.

I don't believe therapy is about fixing people. It's about helping individuals recognize their own strengths, develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and feel confident creating meaningful change.

What You Can Expect

You can expect a welcoming, relaxed, and judgment free environment where you are encouraged to show up exactly as you are. I strive to create genuine connections with my clients and believe that building trust is one of the most important parts of the therapeutic process.

My style is warm, approachable, and conversational. I believe there's room for both meaningful conversations and laughter in therapy. While I will always approach you with compassion and understanding, I'm also willing to gently challenge perspectives, encourage self reflection, and help you step outside of your comfort zone when you're ready.

Whether you're seeking support for yourself or someone in your family, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and empowered. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We'll work together to identify what's important to you, build on your strengths, and take meaningful steps toward your goals at a pace that works for you.
