MA - Clinical Mental Health Counseling - Huntington University

I have experienced the reality that life does not always unfold as we envision it. As human beings, we are susceptible to pain, betrayal, sorrow, and grief. Therapy provides a safe haven to delve into the narrative of your life with curiosity rather than criticism and to comprehend how your journey has shaped the person you have become.

When I'm not helping others navigate through their stories, I enjoy being outdoors. In the summer I love to camp, hike, bike and swim. In the winter, skiing and winter hiking. I also love to travel, cook, read, and spend time with friends and family.

My Approach

My therapeutic approach centers on establishing a strong and trusting relationship with my clients. My objective is to guide clients through this transformative process with a sense of curiosity and empathy. Together, we create a safe and supportive environment to address past wounds, recognize recurring patterns, set personal goals, and cultivate hope for the future.

What You Can Expect

I strive to deliver personalized and impactful care to every individual who seeks my services, which includes honoring the stories and experiences of my clients. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, recognizing that my clients have tools and strengths to move them toward authenticity and freedom. Successful therapy requires a commitment from the client to engage in the challenging work of personal growth and transformation. My therapeutic approach is informed by a combination of restoration therapy, attachment therapy, emotionally focused therapy, trauma-informed practices, and strengths-based techniques. By integrating these methodologies, I am dedicated to providing each client with exceptional and tailored therapy sessions.
